“Waiting for Freedom,” 24x36, oil on canvas, has been selected for inclusion in the prestigious Heckscher Museum of Art 2026 Long Island Biennial juried competition. 74 pieces from Long Island artists were chosen from nearly 600 submissions. The exhibition will run from May 16-September 15, 2026 at the Heckscher Museum of Art, Huntington, NY.
